Our client, a European leader in reinvented local tourism, is looking for an Energy Transition Project Manager to support its energy transition.

ASAP,  Number of days to be defined with the client, remote

The Energy Transition Project Manager reports directly to the Chief Development Officer.

The Groupe objectives of the Energy Transition are to realize a total of 51% reduction in CO2 emissions for the entire portfolio by 2030 vs 2019. And to comply with the “décret tertiaire” in France, i.e. 40% reduction in energy consumption by 2030 for areas subject to this regulation. Our client worked with Royal Haskoning on detailed plans, park by park, to realize these targets.
Missions :

  • The main objective of this role is to project manage the energy transition – starting from the earlier mentioned Royal Haskoning plans up to the signed agreements with the institutional owners on co-funding and the transition to on-site implementation with Technical Department.
  • The actual implementation of the measures will stay the responsibility of the Technical Department (construction, maintenance), yet part of this PMO's role is transmitting and collaborating with the Technical Department :

- to ensure that the teams are properly onboarded

- to ensure the project benefits from feedback from the Technical Department

- and to monitor implementation.

There are many stakeholders in this role (ie. the Business Line, CTO, Procurement, Asset Management, the Executive Committee of the Group etc.). These stakeholders have to be supplied with timely, and reliable management steering information.

In this context management steering information on the one hand comprises existing reports and analyses. On the other hand it also implies providing timely alerts and proactive (unasked) analyses and advise on matters that are potentially relevant for the group or the stakeholders..

In short, the Energy Transition Project Manager is a true business partner for his/her main stakeholders. As part of his/her role he/she manages a strong ‘energy transition team’ in accordance with the expectations of the Group.

Expertises :

  • Technical knowledge,
  • Project management skills,
  • Agility and flexibility,
  • Strong organizational/intercultural sensitivity,
  • MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint/word) is require.
